Little Adoniram Judson Wells is first reported in the 1850 Census of the United States. He was only one year old and lived in Colerain, Belmont County, Ohio, with his parents Benjamin (50) and Rachel (46) Wells. His siblings included Sarah (23), Isabella (21), John (17), Moses (14), and Rueben (7). He was named for missionary Judson before our hero died in 1850. I will assume his parents for pious Christians and wonder what became of this lad.
