Adoniram Judson Freeman

Occupation Unknown–Michigan MI

Adoniram Judson Freeman was born 26 May 1824, the son of Bradley Freeman and Eunice Norris Freeman. He married Eliza H King 15 Nov 1843 in Jackson Co Michigan.

The 1850 Michigan Census for Jackson County lists Adaniam (sic) J Freeman as 26 and his wife Eliza as 24 years old. They have a daughter named Lydia who is 5 and a daughter, Lucy, who is not yet a year old.

Ten years later the 1860 Michigan Census reports Admiram (sic) Freeman is 36 and his wife is 34. The first two girls are 10 years older thus Lydia is 15 and Estella (Lucy) is 10. Twins who are now 2 years old have been added to the family–Ella and Erving.

Fast forward to 1870 and A Judson Freeman is listed as only 40 (sic) years old when he should be 46. Eliza has aged normally and is 44 years old. The two older girls are not living at this family address. The twins, now listed as Madison J Freeman and Ella Freeman are 12 years old. This census reveals that Lydia Freeman married William Hotchkin on 18 August 1867 in Jackson County, Michigan,

Irving Madison Freeman (twin to Ella) was living in Fayetteville, Washington Co, Arkansas in 1930.

Adoniram Judson Freeman died 9 August 1902 and is buried in the Cole Cemetery at Rives Junction, Jackson County, Michigan.[1]
